Music-Cycle

Hello Guys! Hope everyone is well, had a great time on Gareth and Jonny's Escape from the Pigeon Hole, check out their blog at http://escapefromthepigeonhole.blogspot.com/, their show is on every monday at 11-12, for a perfect Fun Factory warm up.
Anyway onto business, from this thursday you can tune in and check the Blog for our latest Feature. I woke up very early or very late no Sunday night and got a some oce cold water from downstairs, ambled back to my lair and started flicking through a Bob Dylan biography i've been reading sporadicly, to find that there was little i hadn't read and it sparked an idea in me 'ed.
What to now do with the Book? It's a great read and i would probably find it interesting again in the way classic American culture is portrayed, but surely it's a crime to have such a thing sitting in my room, not out in the world to annoy everyone i know who hates Bob Dylan merely because i like him so much. And the same for many CD's which i've worn down to near destruction.
So, abusing the xpressradio airwaves as usual i think we should offer everyone the chance to listen/see/read some exciting new things.

I offer the Following things to kick us off! Please join in, i want your stuff! Items can be swapped permanently or just for a few weeks if you love them too much! Say if you want an item thats already listed or post your own items. You know what i mean, do it in the comments section of the Blog or on facebook group. Or obviously phone/text/email the show!

Heres some to beef up the Listings from Curly Joe

Down the Highway : The life of Bob Dylan by Howard Sounes (Permanent Swap or Temporary)
this book is brilliant, speaks in the tone of classic American culture, breathes history and its about the greatest man to grace the planet.

The Cribs- The New Fellas -
Quality album, has Hey Scenesters on it.

Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
It's awesome, it's really apocalyptic and Epic. It even still has a sticker on the front, how about that?

The Flaming Lips- Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
It's about robots and life and love and Do You Realise is the most beautiful song ever.

GET INVOLVED!

Welcome!

All and sundry to our blog! Sorry for the bare face (bare-back?) look to the page at the moment, hopefully we will have a few pictures and stuff up soon of us in studio, and importantly of all, a place to store all of our 'podcasts':old shows and the like so you can listen again, if you are that mad.

The biggest news in Curly joe and Ginger land is that Curly Joe has become Curly Joe-'s' as Mike will be joining us. For those who listened to this weeks show you may have seen that already. Or heard it as w are on the radio. Anyway, sorry the show kept messing up but we had a good 2-3 hour show and got a lot of awesome music in. And perhaps most excellently, we are now able to get live music on demand as Mike is awesome at guitar and will now be subject to our will and notorious diva behaviour. Best of all is that Mike will be the star of our brand new feature, Biscuit or Blues?

Normal conundrum magic and prizes will resume next week, and i believe the show will be sponsored by the letter 'L', as the Christmas show was the K-ristmas show. Please tune in and pull down your trousers, as the prize will be some precious antique cans.
